Hello, I’m Luc

That isn’t my real name but that really isn’t important.  A boring, but quick background on the name and the little icon on the header.  I’m what you may call a ‘dork’ to put it lightly.  I like video games, movies, tv shows and other ‘unimportant’ things in life.  Well, for the past few years i’ve been playing a game called Everquest II pretty casually, it’s an OK game but they could have made it far better than what it is.   That’s besides the point though,I don’t mean to side track myself.

One of my favorite shows of all time was the short lived series on HBO called ‘Rome’.  It wasn’t as popular as they would have liked, so it got the axe after the 2nd season, and it isn’t shocking seeing as it’s one of those shows that require more than 30 seconds to know all the characters and main storyline.   It’s very similar to my other favorite shows like ‘The Wire’ and ‘Jericho’, all very well written with amazing stories every season that kept you hanging on every week, but not in cheesy ‘bang bang shoot em up’ shows that seem to be more popular.

So, when I created my Everquest II character, I tried to use the same name as one of the characters from the show, Lucius Vorenus, but the name was taken so I chose Luceus.    Not a very exciting story, but that explains where ‘Luc’ came from, and the icon is just the face of my character in the game.   I’m not very creative so it doesn’t shock me this site name is based on one of my characters which was based on a show.

About the real me, i’m a 29 year old male living just north of Boston.  I have a very weird sense of humor, and I tend to be very sarcastic at times, which you will probably notice if you read some of my news stories.    This site is my take on some of the ridiculous and bizarre news stories that seem to pop up all the time, and sometimes you’ll find the stories laced with sarcasm, other times i’ll try to be as serious as I can, which isn’t very.

If my stories offend you, or my takes on stories rather, I apologize in advance and just remember if i’m offending you this week, i’m probably offending someone you don’t like next week :)

So that’s me in a nutshell, i’m sure I can add more but if you’re actually still reading this low, I must have kept your interest somehow so i’m going to leave before I bore you.
